About CNBCfix.com

Thank you for visiting CNBCfix.com.

This site is not affiliated whatsoever with CNBC television, its NBC Universal division or its parent company, Comcast (formerly General Electric).

This site provides independent commentary of news and programs aired on CNBC as well as business- and pop-culture-related media. The mission statement here is to deliver reviews of TV and online media that are relevant to the typical CNBC audience and hopefully others. It is called "CNBCfix" because CNBC is where we've been getting our real-time business "fix" for 25 years, and counting.

What does CNBCfix.com offer? Information. A zest for the news, for the stock market, for CNBC television. Honesty in the posts. Fairness to the subjects. Determination to constantly improve this site. You see it on the banner atop this page: Dedicated to the highest standards of journalism.

This site claims no expertise in stock or investing recommendations, but does comment on financial market activity and the recommendations of others.

This site is forever going to be a work-in-progress. There's no budget for slick Web design. We carry our own bags here. This is ongoing amateur formatting that may occasionally appear out-of-whack. Please give it a chance. We're here because you are. We're fighting for every click we get.

Finally: The author believes very strongly in the principles of daily newspaper journalism. Daily print media is an absolute must for this or any society. The goal of this site is to reach beyond the physical limitations of print media to deliver something relevant about the global business world, 24/7. Print media has set the standard — we’re just hoping to come along for the ride.

Bottom line? Buy a newspaper, watch CNBC, read this site.
